I started the holidays a little early this year, and crafted these bright reindeer piñatas for our upcoming reindeer party. I love how magical they look.
Pink and gold reindeer feel way more fun to me than plain brown ones, especially with a bit of glitter detail and a cute pom-pom nose.

These little piñatas start with the tiny donkey piñata you can grab here or at your local store, and with a few steps, they turn into the sweetest holiday decorations.
They look adorable on a party table or hanging by the tree.
Here is how I made the DIY reindeer piñatas
Supplies you will need
- Donkey pinata
- Hot pink and white crepe paper
- Gold tissue paper
- Hot glue gun
- Fringe scissors
- Cardboard
- Pom-pom for the nose

Full Reindeer Pinata DIY Tutorial
1. Pull off all the fringe from the donkey piñata. Save the eyes for later, though you’ll need those!
2. Use fringe scissors to cut lots of fringe from the pink and white crepe paper. Glue the fringe all over the piñata until it is fully covered.
3. Glue the eyes back on. Then cut long strips of gold tissue paper to make the reins and glue them around the head.
4. Cut two antlers from cardboard, cover them with gold tissue paper, and glue them to the top.
5. Add a pom-pom nose to finish the look.

And just like that, we’ve got magical reindeer piñatas ready to pull the sleigh. These will make the Rindeer party feel festive and fun!
