This year, I want our Thanksgiving kids’ table to feel extra fun, so I am making these cute paper bag popcorn stuffed turkeys.
They look just like little paper turkeys on the table, and when the kids open them, they find popcorn inside! An easy snack while waiting for the real turkey to be done.

I love the paper bag popcorn trend is when putting kernels in the microwave. This paper bag popcorn turkey takes the viral idea up a notch.

Supplies:
- Popcorn
- Paper lunch bags, I like these pink ones
- Paper treat bags
- Crepe paper
- Tape
- Scissors

Popcorn Bag Turkey Instructions
How I make the paper bag popcorn turkeys:
1. Open a lunch bag and push in the corners to make the body round. Fill this part with popcorn.
Note: If you are using this project to make your popcorn in the bags, fill each bag with 1/8 cup kernals and place in the microwave to POP at this step.
2. Roll the top edge under and fold the sides in to make a pointed shape. Tape the bottom to keep it closed. Set it aside.
3. For the drumsticks, use the smaller treat bags. Round the corners the same way, fill with popcorn, and twist the top.
4. Cut a 3-inch strip of crepe paper. Snip tiny slits along one side to make the ending fringe.
5. Tape the start of the crepe paper to the twisted top of the drumstick and wrap it around until you reach the end. Tape this in place.

6. Use tape or a small dab of glue to attach the finished drumsticks to the sides of the turkey body.
Set all the popcorn-stuffed turkeys on the kids’ table and watch their faces light up.
