I love adding color to Christmas, and this popsicle stick wreath is a fun way I did this for the season.
The wreath made in a color-block fashion from simple craft popsicle sticks is easy to make and works on doors, windows or even above a mantle for colorful holiday decorating.

I was inspired by one of my favorite artists, Lauren Clay, and turned that inspiration into an easy holiday craft that feels like art right at home.
This wreath looks beautiful by the tree or hanging in a window, and I even like to leave it up all year. The colors just make me happy.

Supplies
To make the popsicle stick wreath, you will need:
- Craft paint in red, dark pink, light pink, and lilac
- About 200 popsicle sticks
- A Styrofoam wreath
- Hot glue gun, my favorite cordless glue gun is perfect for this project.
DIY Popsicle Wreath Instructions
1. Start by painting all of the popsicles in various shades. I did about 1/4 of the wreath in each color, but the great thing is you can design the piece to match whatever your holiday color scheme is.
2. Glue the popsicle sticks around the wreath in a spiral, overlapping a little as you go until it feels nice and full.
3. Keep going with each color until your wreath is full. Watching a Christmas movie while you work on this is always a great plan.

4. Let all the glue set and hang it up to enjoy.
I love how bold and happy these look grouped together. Try making a set of three color block wreaths to hang in your front windows, so bright and festive for Christmas!
