I made this simple Christmas cookie stack tower tree as a fun way to share cookies at next week’s Christmas decorating party.
Inspired by this cute donut reel, I had to try my own holiday cookie version.

I made mine using a simple donut display stand. The bases come in multiples so that you can fill an entire table with your own Christmas cookie towers. Plus, they come apart easily, so I can store them after the season.
Once it was ready, I stacked Christmas cookies all the way up the tower. Pretty holiday treats look so cute when they are piled high.
Supplies and Ingredients
Here’s how I make the cookie stack tower:
- Donut stack base
- Something to create a circle in the middle of the cookies
- Small doilies
- Favorite Christmas cookies

Make The Cookie Stack Christmas Tree
1. Put together your cookie stack base.
2. Use a small dowel or the handle of a wooden spoon to create a hole in each cookie big enough to thread the pole through.
3. Cut a small slit in the doilies so they will fit on as well. This not only looks pretty, but ensures the cookies can be taken off with ease.

4. Slide your cookies onto the dowel one by one, with a doilie in between each to make a tall cookie stack.
5. Add a Christmas bow on top to make it festive.
I love how simple this is. It makes the cookies feel special, and it looks adorable on the dessert table.

I also love that it would be the cutest hostess gift or a sweet way to hand off cookie treats for teachers and friends.
PS. ABC alphabet cookies are also fun to make this season.
