Cheers to 250 years!
It is all stars, stripes, and sparklers as I count down the days until a very patriotic Fourth. I’ll be spending this week adding the finishing touches to my Fourth of July mantle, flag-themed charcuterie boards, and cocktails. Then we plan to be busy at the lake, rafting the river, and celebrating the 250th birthday of our country this week. I hope your weekend plans leave time for summer fun and celebrating well.
In the spirit of planning, I’ve rounded up a few easy ideas to add to your celebration below.
Memorial Day is another big holiday where I live. Here are some ideas from our Memorial Day party that you can carry over to the 4th!
This Patriotic garland adds a convenient way to elevate your standard disposable garland with the perfect pop of red, white, and blue. Bonus: it ships Prime, so you can still grab it in time for the weekend.
I had the most fun planning the perfect accents to our Fourth menu. Head over to Instagram for last-minute inspiration like our red, white, and blue glitter champagne, star cocktails, and the easiest donut flag!

This gorgeous handcrafted ribbon flag Melissa sent me is one of my most sought-after decor items; it is timeless, chic, and beautiful to look at.
This holiday season, I have loved experimenting with interesting ways to use our garland. I’ve loved using our (mini) red, white, and blue garland as a table embellishment. Add your favorite taper candles and flags.
In the spirit of elevated, timeless, and reusable decor, Christmas Bells! I bought chic, galvanized bells. They were a huge hit this Christmas. I paired them with Fourth of July ribbons to use, and with the simple bow change, the decor possibilities are endless.
One of my favorite (well, they are all my favorites) DIY decor ideas was this disposable whimsical tablecloth flag bow wall.

Party Planning is my superpower and the summer is when it seems to come most alive.
PS. I bought 250 candles also. I’ll report back to see how that goes. Ha!
