To continue my DIY glitter champagne bottle upgrade series, this month I am celebrating America’s 250-year birthday with red, white & blue star confetti.

These patriotic mini Lamarca bottles look so cute when they’re decorated. Making a fun start to serving up the drinks at this year’s 4th of July party.

To make the patriotic glitter prosecco bottles for Independence Day, you’ll need:

  1. Red, White & Blue Star confetti
  2. Mod Podge
  3. Red striped ribbon
  4. Sparklers

The bottles look so fun lined up with my patriotic red, white & blue garland. Basically, the bar set-up feels complete with this combo.

To make your star glitter champagne bottle, there are just two simple steps:

  1. Start by applying Mod Podge to the bottle. Watch my reel here to see what I mean! You want to cover the bottle with a thin, even coat. Be sure not to paint over the label; this way, it will stand out when you glitter the bottle.
  2. Next, sprinkle the confetti directly onto the bottle. This is the fun part! Roll the bottle around and keep sprinkling until it is fully covered.

Top your bottles with ribbon and sparklers for a 4th of July moment that feels as bright as the milestone.

You can skip this step if the sparklers make you nervous. I obviously recommend lighting yours outside, but they do add a fun sparkle and punch to the celebratory moment.

Cheers to America, bubbles, and 250 years!
