Brie is a must when crafting my serving trays that are always devoured!

I love customizing my boards to fit the party theme, and I have the best trick to make DIY a piece of cake (or cheese…)

Butterfly Brie Cheese

Brie with a flavored center

I added blackberry jam between my Brie layers to fit my spring, butterfly theme. I also love adding a layer of hot honey or pickled jalapeƱos for fall.

Craft a tasty charcuterie board

  • Pick a good balance of proteins. I like salami, pancetta, or chopped chicken.
  • Add something crunchy. Nuts are a great addition. Almonds, walnuts, or honey-roasted peanuts are wonderful.
  • Include fresh fruit. Berries add a sweet layer. Grapes on the vine, sliced apples, or berries of any kind would be perfect!
  • Bring on the carbs. Carbs, carbs, and more carbs. I have loved roughly ripping apart a sourdough loaf. I’ve also added crackers.
  • Choose the right platter. Choose a large platter, or one that fits your party’s theme.

Find the perfect platter, like this cute butterfly one, and start by adding small groups of each category to your board. Stamped Brie makes the perfect centerpiece to your charcuterie; add this step first. Then, add your groups of each category around your Brie.

Stamped Brie Cheese

Cheeseboards can be simple, too!

Often, the Brie is the first item on my party table devoured. Feel free to keep it simple and plate your Brie by itself with a few rows of your favorite crackers.

Trader Joe’s cracker aisle is my favorite!
