A birthday wine cake! There’s nothing my sweet friend loves better than her white wine. Making a cake filled with her favorite drink doubles as a fun party centerpiece and a sweetly thoughtful birthday gift.
Plus bonus… there is no baking involved, just cheers!
It was easy easier than I thought it would be to make this fun wine cake.
Supplies:
To make the wine bottle cake you’ll need:
- A cake stand – which becomes part of the gift, so make it a cute one like this pretty simple white stand.
- Ribbons to tie it up pretty
- Wine bottles, I used 10 small bottles and 3 medium size ones
- Hot glue gun
- Candles to top your bottles
Instructions:
1. Arrange your bottles on the cake stand in a circle formation. Use hot glue to secure in place.
2. Tie various ribbons around the bottles to make the cake colorful and just your girlies style.
Add a small tag or card in this step if you want and you have a complete gift ready to give.
3. Lastly add the candles to the tops of your bottles with hot glue.
How to Transport
Transport this pretty cake very carefully to your party. I put mine in a box with paper stuffed in to secure it for the drive. It would be sad to make such a pretty cake and have it end up all over your car.
Once you arrive, place the cake at the center of the party table or gift table for a show stopping birthday treat.
