Have you found yourself at the kickoff of senior year?
It is so exciting and, of course, a little bittersweet. I am sharing my favorite Senior tips and tricks that I used to launch my girl into her final year of high school, and they are fun, simple, and such a sweet way to wrap up her high school life!
Senior Jeans painting party up first!

I hosted a class of 2027 senior jeans painting party for the girls, so fun! I set up my printable signs as decor and gifted each girl a “Smells like Senior Year” candle.
We set out supplies, and each girl brought over their own pair of jeans.

Necessary supplies included:
- acrylic paint
- water
- cute jeans patches
- lots of extra paint in their school colors
- Fabric markers for details
- plus fabric medium
To get this senior jeans painting right, you absolutely need to use fabric medium!

The table was set with multiple layers of plastic tablecloths, paint brushes, fabric markers and paper plates for color mixing.
My garland and fun ribbon bows pulled everything together, although to be honest, the girls ended up spreading out and painting all over the uncovered floor!
So, that was cool 😉

I kept the food simple… putting cute senior stickers on the drink cups and serving up easy snacks like this charcuterie pizza slice.

I just loved hearing all their chatter as they painted the day away… What a great way to start senior year!

Tips For Senior Jeans Painting
Hunt down your favorite jeans, acrylic paint, and fabric medium, and create the cutest keepsake to treasure all year (and beyond!)
Pro tips for painting Senior Jeans:
- Get the spacing down before you start with measuring tape, or just folding the jeans to measure
- Use chalk for the design first; it erases easily if needed
- They all started painting with a white paint base, which really helped to make the colors pop!
- Fabric markers worked great for adding detail over the paint once it dried
- And having multiple blow dryers on hand was a game changer. They help the paint set well before turning the jeans over… on your uncovered floor.
Set out your paint, turn on your students’ favorite music, grab the snacks, and let everyone get creative! It was such a fun way to spend time together and create something they can wear all year!
