With holiday parties and New Year’s Eve right around the corner, why wait for the disco ball to drop when you can be the sparkle with this disco ball headband?

I am wearing it to our New Year’s Eve tinsel party and looking forward to seeing the room light up when I walk in.
Even if glitter isn’t your go to look the rest of the year, the holiday season is the perfect time to lean into the dazzle.
The headband is a perfect accessory for New Years Eve – to make it you will need 4cm disco ball ornaments with a polystyrene base (they have these everywhere this year!), and a plastic headband.

Here’s how to make your own Disco Party Crown:
- Grab a few small disco ball ornaments (the 4 cm ones with the polystyrene base work perfectly) and a simple plastic headband.
1. Remove the hanging strings and clasps. They usually pull right out, but if they’re stuck, slide a spoon under the edge and gently lift.
2. Pick off a few mirror tiles where you’ll be gluing so the surface is nice and clean.
3. Carefully fill the little holes in the disco balls with hot glue and let them dry. Then start attaching them to your headband with more glue, beginning right in the center and working your way out for a balanced sparkle effect.
4. Add a tiny dot of glue between each disco ball to make it extra sturdy for your midnight dance moves.
5. Once it’s all dry, snip off any stray glue strands, pop it on, and prepare to shine!

Whether you’re counting down at home or hitting the dance floor, this headband brings main character energy to every celebration.
