These candy corn jello shots are the perfect boozy drink to get your Halloween party off to the right start.
In our neighborhood, many houses serve up a fun drink for adult trick-or-treaters, and this fall shot is fun to hand out at a front patio party this year.

The thing about Jell-O shot cocktails that I love is that they are so forgiving. The layers don’t need to be perfect, but if you follow the recipe, you’ll end up with mini shots that look just like candy corn! So fun for the season.

Tips To Get Candy Corn Shots Just Right
-
Get yourself some GOOD tequila!
Make these babies taste as good as they look. I used Jose Cuervo Blue Agave. It’s the best taste with the orange and the lemon jello flavors.
-
Harness your patience for a well-layered shot
Allow plenty of time for your candy corn jello shot to set before serving.
A little trick I like to do is freeze your shot classes before adding your first jello layer.
Spoon in each layer to make sure they are even, and you don’t have a lot of excess liquid dripping down the sides.
-
Get the temperature just right
Set out the candy corn jello shots about an hour ahead of time. This gives them time to loosen up from the sides. No one wants to have to fish out their shot stuck to the side of the glass.
-
Whipped cream that doesn’t melt
Don’t add your whipped cream too early; just right before your guests come knocking at your door.
Love the idea of making a fun seasonal drink that our friends will look forward to every year. Layer up that sweet candy corn for shots that everyone will remember.
PS. Pumpkin jello shots are also fun if you prefer.
