1cupFrostingYou can use fondant instead if desired.
1 boxFavorite cake mix
Instructions
Bake your cake in the square silicone molds on cupcake settings. Once the cake has cooled, remove from the mold and cut off the irregular tops so the cake is flat.
Frost your cakes and allow to rest in fridge for 20-30 minutes.
While the cakes are resting use scissors to cut out a long strip about 1/4″ wide on the sugar sheets. Use food coloring to color the sugar sheets any color you want for the bows.
Pull the cakes out of the fridge and wet the back of the sheet with a little bit of water. Attach it across the square cake in both directions.
With the sugar sheet again, fold a bow and wet the sheet to keep it held together. Attach the bow to the top of the present cake with a little bit of water to make sure it stays.
Notes
Using fondant will make the cakes look more wrapped, but frosting works well too.
