After making these huge Christmas bows with tablecloths, I became obsessed with the idea of hanging tablecloth bows on my walls. This Christmas and even Valentine’s Day there were so many fun chances to use bows, but I just didn’t want to stop…
So I decided to branch out in color scheme and make this fun Rain-Bow wall display to top the mantle for our Saint Patrick’s Day party.
It’s only fitting since the word bow, is very obviously found in RAIN-BOW that we should make a full on rainbow with my favorite tablecloth bow DIY.
So fun!
Not only does it make a HUGE statement in our space, but it’s literally the easiest project ever.
Honestly, if you can tie a pair of shoelaces… you can make this.
Tablecloth Bow Rainbow Mantle
To create this look, I started by grabbing a full rainbow worth of colored tablecloths at the dollar store. This whole project cost under $20 to make!
Supplies:
- Tablecloths from the dollar store, or anywhere you want to grab them.
- Command strips like these to hang the bows on your walls without harming them.
To make the Rainbow wall display, you can follow along with my video on tying the bows.
How to tie bows from tablecloths
Just tie the tablecloth like it’s a shoelace.
Then puff out the bow shape to create this look.
How to hang bows on the wall
To hang the bows, I used command strips and they worked like a charm.
Just stick onto the bow and place it on the wall in a rainbow arch.
This look makes me so happy, I might just keep it up for rainbow birthday decorations next.
