Like everyone else I feel in LOVE with this viral satin bow garland, but the price tag was WAY out of my range.
So instead, I decided to DIY instead of buy & make my own!
Bow Tie Foot Trick
I started by purchasing satin ribbon and hacking my own bows, using this fun foot ribbon bow trick.
To create a satin bow using your feet, you wrap the ribbon around your feet 2 times.
Loop it through the center.
Tie it off and remove it for a perfect looking satin bow every time.
But then I decided there was an even easier way…
I found these perfect satin bows that were only $10 for a set of 6!
I bought two packs and they make an almost perfect garland hack that is affordable and oh-so fun for the holiday.
DIY Satin Bow Garland
To turn the bows into our anthro hack garland there is really only one step we need to do.
I pulled out the glue gun and combined the bows side-by-side to form the garland shape.
That’s it!
Couldn’t be an easier DIY to make such a fun statement for your Christmas mantel or tree.
The fun thing about doing this DIY vs. buying it is that you can make it as long as you’d like, just purchase more packs as needed. Fill the whole house with bows if you want!
Plus, create the bow garland in whatever color vibe you have this Christmas. Pink is obviously mine, but yours could be something totally different.
Love the look of this satin bow garland on our mantel, now I just need to add greenery.
